ADOPT YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND TODAY!
Secondhand Snoots Rescue is a 501(c)3 registered
not-for-profit, volunteer-based, animal welfare organization.
We are dedicated to the rescue and rehoming of unwanted
and homeless animals, while focusing our efforts on
animals with special needs, injuries and illnesses.
Most of our adoptable pets are rescued from high-kill
animal control agencies, where they are in danger of being euthanized. We rescue them, place them into qualified foster homes, treat their medical needs and rehabilitate them and place them into loving adoptive homes throughout the Midwest.
At Secondhand Snoots, we work to improve the the lives of animals with special needs, injuries and illnesses. In an effort to increase awareness and reduce misconceptions about deaf and special needs dogs we offer educational seminars during some of the pet expos that we attend, and are also available to come out talk to your school, group or business.
Chelsea is a sweet and curious girl who loves to run and play. She loves to go for walks and take in all of the sights, sounds and smells. She is housebroken and a quick learner and she is working on leash manners and basic obedience. Chelsea loves her people and is energetic in her play, we believe she do her best in a home with no young kids. She prefers to be the only pup cuddling on the couch with you after a hard day at work, and would be best suited as the only dog in the home.
I am a 6-year old stunning American Staffordshire Terrier, and I am deaf. I already know sit and paw, down and give kisses, I am fun, silly, innocent and puppy-like girl. I am super curious about the world, I LOVE to chase a tennis ball, once, I will bring it back to you and lay-down and chew on it.
Wynn is a sweet senior beagle with a lot of love to give. He is loving and cuddly. He is good with other dogs and loves people. He is looking for an adoptive home to spend his golden years.
