ANIMAL INTAKE FROM ANIMAL CONTROLS & OPEN-DOOR SHELTERS:
Secondhand Snoots Rescue rarely accepts pets from the public, as we are simply not set-up. If you are working with an open-admission shelter, pound, or animal control, please email Erica at erica@secondhandsnoots.org with the pet’s location, as much information as possible, photo and timeline for rescue.

ANIMAL SURRENDER:

Secondhand Snoots Rescue rarely accepts pets from the public, as we are simply not set-up. We work directly with animal shelters and animal controls based on foster home availability. We receive hundreds of requests for help weekly, and though we wish we could, we cannot feasibly help every pet in need. Because the shelter system is overwhelmed with owner surrenders, strays and unwanted litters, special needs, injured or sick pets are usually the first to be euthanized for space, and often take the longest to find new homes for. Secondhand Snoots Rescue is dedicated to rescuing those pets.
