ADOPT YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND TODAY!
Secondhand Snoots Rescue is a 501(c)3 registered
not-for-profit, volunteer-based, animal welfare organization.
We are dedicated to the rescue and rehoming of unwanted
and homeless animals, while focusing our efforts on
animals with special needs, injuries and illnesses.
Most of our adoptable pets are rescued from high-kill
animal control agencies, where they are in danger of being euthanized. We rescue them, place them into qualified foster homes, treat their medical needs and rehabilitate them and place them into loving adoptive homes throughout the Midwest.
At Secondhand Snoots, we work to improve the the lives of animals with special needs, injuries and illnesses. In an effort to increase awareness and reduce misconceptions about deaf and special needs dogs we offer educational seminars during some of the pet expos that we attend, and are also available to come out talk to your school, group or business.
As a volunteer-based, registered non-profit, no-kill rescue, we are dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of animals in need. We dedicate our time and resources are to animals with special needs, injuries, and illnesses.
Foster Homes Needed:
As a foster-home based rescue organization we are always in need of loving homes to provide temporary care for the animals we save. Secondhand Snoots Rescue's foster home network covers the following Illinois counties, Cook, Lake, McHenry, DuPage, Will, and Kankakee; we also have an expanding foster home network in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area.
